Affino was initially commissioned to deliver an automated Ecommerce Benchmarking Solution for IMRG. It was originally named the ’e-Retail Benchmarking System’, employed standard IMRG livery, and would measure peer ecommerce performance for metrics including: Unique visitors, Average order values, Total orders, Checkout abandonmen, Conversion rates and Device type - PC | tablet | smartphone.
Affino worked with IMRG to create a whole new process with both automated and manual customer-handling elements. Affino immersed itself within the culture of IMRG and worked alongside key IMRG personnel to evolve the new system / solution and all pertinent design and branding components. Affino advised and consulted on matters including systems and solutions architecture, corporate culture, design, branding and marketing.
The big breakthrough in the solution was the development of the variable sampling methodology and algorithm. This allowed for highly accurate performance tracking and benchmarking with improved flexibility / scaling at significantly lower overheads. In the second iteration, Affino worked with IMRG to originate a new brand name 'Peermap' , as well as a new brandmark / logo. Affino also worked to simplify and refine the key messages, which were also encompassed in a single-sided promotional flyer as well as a brand new responsive-design website.
The Peermap brand represents an automated benchmarking system for online retailers. It allows you to track key online sales metrics and map your performance against your sector peers.’Peermap’ can be used as a proper noun, as well as a verb and adjective. You can Peermap your site and have it be Peermapped as it were.
