Netflix continues to grow from strength to strength, and what was once a Blockbuster-alike video rental is now one of the world’s leading producers of high quality original ’TV’ programming. It is easily my preferred version of ’Television’ (99% of my viewing is on-demand) and its eclectic mix of quality content and superior user experience sees it outpace the likes of Amazon Video and NowTV / Sky - to which I also subscribe.

Readers of this blog will know that I’m a big fan of music and movies. I subscribe to all manner of mailing lists and regularly read up on latest releases on a variety of online movie and music resources. On Facebook I am fan to countless musicians and bands, and am very aware when new releases are out in the marketplace. Google Music Beta was one of the main introductions at the recent Google I/O Conference. In essence, it is a Cloud-based music file storage system which has a number of clever features enabled by the Android software that powers / manages it from Android devices.
